Ashleigh + Jordan's Wedding at Roundwood, Norwich
After having met Ashleigh & Jordan for their engagement shoot the month prior, their big day was one I had been seriously looking forward to. The day began at the beautiful Catton Old Hall, where Ashleigh and her bridesmaids were getting ready. With Disney songs on in the background, makeup artist Ellen Lowe working her magic and an abundance of glittery details, it was a wedding photographer’s dream. After stepping outside for some #bridetribe shots, we were off to St. Edmund’s Church in Taverham for their intimate and emotional ceremony. Ashleigh’s mother even surprised her with a secret vocalist to sing one of her favourite songs - and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Their reception took place at Roundwood in Taverham, a venue I’d never visited before and was a bit nervous to shoot at for the first time. I needn’t have been - the function room was absolutely stunning, decorated impeccably in Ashleigh & Jordan’s pink colour scheme with bunting, giant love letters from My Fleur and a stunning cake by Siana Mason setting the scene. After some heartfelt speeches and a delicious buffet, we were lucky enough to catch the final rays of the setting sun. Shortly afterwards, the cake was cut and the couple made their way to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
Ashleigh and Jordan’s wedding was pink, sparkly - and emotional throughout. It was such a pleasure to photograph all the little details that brought their day together, as well as the big moments that meant so much to them. Congratulations, Ashleigh & Jordan - it was a stunning midsummer celebration.
